WHY Nd:YAG LASER?
Nd:YAG technology uses a targeted wavelength of light to reach the hair follicle while minimising interaction with pigment at the skin's surface. This makes it particularly suitable for treating darker skin tones.
Treatments can be carried out on the face and body, including the underarms, legs, bikini/intimate areas, arms, abdomen and unwanted facial hair.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Laser works most effectively while hair is in its active growth stage, so a course of treatments is normally required.
Treatment times vary depending on the area being treated. Smaller areas such as the underarms can take around 10 minutes, while larger or multiple areas require longer. Your therapist will recommend a treatment schedule based on your individual needs.

BEFORE & AFTER YOUR TREATMENT
Arrive with the treatment area clean and shaved, without makeup, perfume, oils or lotions.
Following treatment, avoid excessive heat, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, strenuous exercise and swimming for the period advised by your therapist. Protect exposed treated areas with a high-SPF sunscreen.

Does laser hurt?
You may experience a warm or snapping sensation during treatment. Your patch test allows you to experience the sensation before beginning your course.
Can darker skin be treated?
Yes. Nd:YAG technology is particularly well suited to darker skin tones when used appropriately by a trained practitioner.
Does laser work on blonde or grey hair?
Laser requires pigment within the hair, so blonde, white, grey and many red hairs generally do not respond effectively.
